What Is Electricity?

Why is it important to understand the basics of electricity before learning about electrical safety? The world around us relies more and more on electricity. The more students know about which things rely on electricity, the more aware of the potential dangers they'll become, and the more likely they'll be to use it safely. This knowledge can prevent electrical fires and shocks/electrocutions from happening.
